Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
1. Booking & Deposit
A deposit of €500 — or full payment — is required to secure your place on any Ocean Child Adventure retreat. Your spot is only confirmed once payment has been received.
If you choose the deposit option, the remaining balance is due no later than three (3) weeks before the retreat start date. If the balance is not received by the deadline, we reserve the right to release your spot without refund of the deposit.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made 4 or more weeks before the retreat start date: 50% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before the retreat start date: no refund. Your spot may be transferred to another guest, subject to our approval.
3. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests carry travel insurance covering medical treatment, trip cancellation, and trip interruption. We do not actively verify coverage.
Ocean Child Adventure is not liable for any losses, costs, or damages incurred due to lack of travel insurance.
4. Health & Participation
Activities include movement, pilates, hikes, swimming, and other physical experiences. By booking you confirm that you are in good general health and able to participate.
You must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or dietary needs at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee participation in every activity.
5. Code of Conduct
Ocean Child is a safe, respectful, and inclusive space. Any behaviour that is disrespectful, discriminatory, or threatening to other guests, hosts, or partners may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
6. Force Majeure
If a retreat must be cancelled or rescheduled due to events outside our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, conflict, etc.), we will offer the option to transfer your booking to a future retreat. Refunds for non-recoverable costs cannot be guaranteed.
7. Liability
By participating you accept that Ocean Child Adventure, Nathalie, and all partners are not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property during the retreat, except where caused by gross negligence on our part.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.
